Sort of. I understand a electric dryer needs a 240 VAC plug that cannot fir into a 120 VAC outlet. I also know that even a 240 VAC can have a bad line in the outlet and the electric dryer will still “RUN” with 120 VAC yet cannot HEAT unless the load receives 240 VAC. If L1 is disconnected L2 will start the electric dryer motor and it will run and tumble but cannot heat. I appreciate all you do and again, my literalistic tendencies can get the better of me, especially with testing.
