    Sorry I meant to answer your question as well you don’t need the resistance in that specific case to calculate the voltage drop then.

    Yes but the issue I’m having is in the question there is one load in the circuit by itself and then the other part has three loads with a shunt around one of them.

    ThAt the total resistance of multiple loads in a circuit should total up to the source voltage.

    Voltage drop is across a load is produced when current flows through that load. Meaning the voltage over all will drop based on the resistance of the load.
