    But doesn’t the light become energized through the surface element? Cause when it comes on it turns on that light right? Or is the surface element just coming on at the same time the light does and the light isn’t dependent on the circuit of the surface element? I don’t know if that makes any sense or not.

    No I was looking at the correct light. The one that has four parallel circuits for the four different lights. I also read the explanation and see how the black jumper works and turns the light on at first. I think I understand the schematic but i was having trouble reading the wiring diagram. And if I was just looking at the schematic I wouldn’t be able to tell that the hot light bimetal is is actuated by the surface burner would I? But I now know what mistake I made on the quiz though. I get that if I become the light i would have no contact with the protector bimetal.

    Sorry I didn’t put a detailed subject. This is for module 11 unit 4.
