Hmmm screwed up that edit. and couldn’t make another one. If I got 240 volts across the element I,d assume bad element and take a wire off and measure for continuity. If I didn’t get 240 volts I’d work my way back checking for continuity of the thermostats etc. I think you get my drift…

Oh yeah, I’m sorry, I was just being A smart aleck, Half LOL.But I’m glad I asked. I didn’t even think of a spark module. Yes I was that kid in grade school. I’ll try to keep it to a minimum on here. There is no absolute 10 amps out there somewhere. Is the correct answer. So because amps is always the number of electrons passing yada yada there’s got to be an absolute. Unlike voltage because we arbitrarily designate the earth as 0 volts. Correct ?
