Ok I tracked down the correct circuit. Thanks again! That was a tricky one..lol

    Hi Susan,
Im still having trouble with question #2..thus a reset. I read explanation however why is it wrong that the light doesn’t receive L1 thru protector bi metal. I do see L1 thru lights bimetal and L1 to H1 infinate switch..So i assume there are only two correct answers to this question..Thanks!!

To the right of Surface Ind Light symbol there is a N ..so I was thinking L1 to N

Sorry typo..a reset for the CS7: LOI Circuit Analysis Quiz

    Hi Susan,
I too am equesting a rest for this CS7: LOI Circuit Analysis Quiz..I read posts above however I am not clear on why the light is not receiving 120vac for power..LI to N is 120vac am I correct? I do not see any dc voltage wording on schematic..Thanks!!

Yes. There would be voltage drop after a load/resistor, correct?

in reply to: Equivalent Resistance #14726

0V because the switch is closed thus having a complete circuit

in reply to: Equivalent Resistance #14723

No you dont because the voltage at any point in a circuit is always measured with respect to a common point, generally 0V.

    Hi Susan,
Thanks for the quick response..while I was waiting for you I went over the vids again and hopefully I will do better this time around..I was also really having a hard time in my head grasping the washing machine schematic troubleshooting diagram at the 31 min mark in unit 5 in terms of what the voltage reading would be across the switch, wheather or not it is 0 or 120v. I know if I was shown on a appliance I would get it but I understand I hope…Thanks again!!!
