No, the “surf cont” would need to be closed, but I’m not sure what “surf cont” is. Is that a surface temperature control?

    Thanks,
    Duane

I just completed the 2nd attempt for the “CS7: Troubleshooting Hypothesis exam,” and passed based on the given explanation, but I am unclear on the answer: “1- the L1 to H1 contacts in the infinite switch are stuck closed.” How can this be stuck closed if the element surface is cool to the touch? wouldn’t the surface be hot if the L1 to H1 contacts in the infinite switch are stuck closed?

    Thank you,
    Duane

Thank you. I’d forgotten to reference the error codes.

Thank you Susan. It seems this Voltage Doubler is only used for lower-current or non-continuous current applications, correct? And the standard for stepping up AC voltage for higher, continuous VA requirements would be an induction transformer, correct?

    Thank you,
    Duane
