Sorry Sam i just noticed that it was You that responded by my question? thanks
Thanks for clearing that up for me Scott. after i posted the question i remembered hearing you state that in one of the thermodynamics videos and also recalled that you stated, it was needed to prevent the liquid from flashing in the capillary tube. Here’s another question i have ,On the suction and discharge gauges would the outside scale indicate the pressure and the inside scales show the saturation temperature of the type of refrigerant being used?
Good Deal,? Is the filter dryer the same thing as the heat exchanger
I Got it! Thanks again Sam
I realize that you created this coarse a long time ago, So you may have forgotten some small details that you mentioned in the video for example “Superheat nor Subcooling will have and effect on the pressure you also called it a tech myth” which makes allot of since after thinking about it for a long time.
Yea but on a standard top bottom mount fridge there’s usually not a valve available that close to evaporator, would the IR gun me a ballpark temp reading if there isn’t a properly working Thermister located on the inlet to the evaporator already?

May 9, 2021 at 11:11 am in reply to: Schematic Exercises: Appliances with Electronic Control Boards 2 #21857After missing question #5 i finally figured it out I’m just wanting to verify that my thinking is strait on this .On the board itself theres a switch connecting line voltage from P29-1 to P27-1 which controls the operation convection fan and by doing a continuity test i can tell if that switch is open or closed which is one the characteristics of EEPS.
