Sorry, I fat fingered the keys, it was Unit 3.

That make much more sense to me now; I knew there was dot that was not connecting in my head for some reason. Clearly stated that the electrons go through the winding to seek positive. Think I just got hung up on the switching part and got stuck there. Thanks!

Maybe I missed it in the video, if so I keep missing it for I see 3 windings in a BLDC motor and I can infer 2 are under load and assuming in the switching the third winding, at any given time is shunted. I got the question right, but I would like to know I got it right for the right reason….? is this correct or am I missing something? thanks

Yes Susan it helps! Thanks for responding so quickly!

I believe your right that it is the terminology I got hung up on. I have not had to think this hard in years…LOL…

“The amount of current that will flow through each branch is determined by the load, or resistance, in that branch.”

Here is where I stand in my mind: Even though the two loads could have the same resistance and current; it would not be a true statement for “all parallel circuits”; because if the branch had a different resistance the current would change.

    Hopefully I am getting there.

    thanks,
    john
