Thanks for your response. I understand how the measurements tell us that the push-to-start switch is closing properly. What I don’t understand is how those same measurements (taken at the push-to-start switch) also tell us that the door switch (which is further up the neutral line) is also working properly.
In other words, how did Mr. Samurai know that the door switch is functioning properly without taking any voltage readings across the door switch itself?
