    Oh okay. Just checking to better understand. Would that be the same case for module 5, unit 5, second video when half splitting?

    It is starting to make sense. So, would you use it to measure voltage drop? Or to test an outlet?

    Also when should you not use it?

    Samurai – Thank you for the video. That helps me. But, in that video, when the relay for the bake element is open, why is there no potential difference between those two points? And why did adding a load get you to zero in the first place? (I am very new to all of this, so I thank you in advance for your patience.)

    Sam brown – I did read that paragraph, its just confusing to me. I am so new to all of this. So, in the case where a measurement was made to see the amount of voltage being sent to the fan, would that have to be a loading meter?

    I guess I’m just confused on when you have to use one vs when you should not.

    Yes! Thank you. So just so have this straight, if there was in fact current running through, and you were to measure before the motor, to the switch, it wouldn’t be 120? Unless the motor was the only load on the circuit?
