I think whats throwing me off is what is written on the schematic and the way the answers are phrased
It states on the schematic: Hot Light Switches (in protector attached to each surface element)One answer states “Through the lights bi-metal switch”
and another answer states: “Through the protector bi-metal switch”I’m getting confused by the phrases….
Yes ma’am
On the 2nd page of the download. Above the wiring diagram it has PT. NO. 229C5267-0
L1 branches out to L1 / H1 & P
Then below that it branches out to P2
Then below that it runs over to the four hot ind lights – this circuit is where I am focusing on for this question.August 12, 2017 at 7:36 pm in reply to: APPLINCE MOTORS MODULE 8 VARIOUS FREQUENCY DRIVE SYSTEMS #13109No sir – that cleared it up. Was studying tired – and just had vapor lock. I was following what you were saying and figured that’s what you were talking about but just wanted to double check. Appreciate the response. Have a good rest of the weekend…….

I just watched the 1st video on variable Frequency Drive systems – the video for electronic commutation in BDLC motors. At about 14:50 on the video you are saying the switches are open – and the electrons are flowing thru them. I hate to be thick – but I’m not following the video. If the switches are open how can the electrons flow through them? I understand the theory of what everything is doing and why the motor works the way it does – I’m just not understanding how things are working with an open switch.
