I think in question #2. Since current takes the path of least resistance. It should go through L1 TO H1 in the infinite switch ( go through the jumper wires ,the first path ) . Then it would go through the lights bimetal switch (Second path ).

I looked at both schematics and seen that it look as though red,blue and green were added on the main PCB board ( on the left). I did not see any voltage on the PCB heater board. That’s why I issues with this .

I don’t think that relays can switch ground or neutral . That would defeat the purpose of the thermal fuses. It’s not there to monitor ,it’s to take small Vdc and send high voltage.
