so my answer after my math is [answer hidden]
i must be doing my calculations wrong i have 1/ 1/10+ 1/20= 0.03 idk where im going wrong
thank you sooooo much. this has helped me in ways you couldn’t imagine. Your the best!
since the main coil is shunted off the answer for the mail coil will be 0v correct?
its being shunted which means its receiving current just not 120v of current correct each other load is receiving right?
shunt
i would say yes
no their are other paths for electrons can take through the booster and main
yes the ignitor has to go through the main as well right?
is the booster and the main coil in a series.
when i use the zen trick, my left hand goes to L1 and my right goes through the detector switch to the N.
yes all loads are getting current
okay so with the voltage drop across the booster and main i came up with a voltage drop of 60v and the ignitor and safety 120v, is that correct?
okay so with the issue im having is that im not sure im understanding the ‘voltage drop’ in which im not understanding in a series load will use kirschof’s law so if the Ignitor, booster, and safety are all 120vac would the Main coil be 240vac? but if i add them together using kirschofs law the sum comes to 360vac.
yes the main coil would be 30vac
