Ok, I think I’m understanding better. To connect in series, one side of the diode would touch one terminal of the battery, other side of diode would touch one of the meter leads, and other meter lead would touch the other terminal of the battery, right? So to test opposite bias you could swap the meter lead and diode end that are connected to the battery. One way would show the full voltage of the battery and the other way would show considerably less voltage, if any voltage at all. Is this correct? I wasn’t realizing that connecting in series meant connecting in series with the meter.
