        This is the explanation given on the quiz.

        Explanation: The tech sheet gives the BTUH rating of the compressor, and you can calculate horsepower from BTUH. 1 Btu/h = 0.000393 hp. 695 BTUH = 0.27 hp

        0.0004 x 695 = 0.278 Correct right? Thats how we get our answer?

            Yea I guess it does, maybe I misunderstood the question. So an out of spec thermistor can actually cause both to stop working completely? I thought it only would get colder or hotter. I appreciate your replies. 🙂
