Ok, it finally clicked and i see where i was looking at it wrong. I was getting thrown off by the surface element and the protector bimetal on the same wire as the jumpers were, thank you for the help!
Wouldn’t it be L2 on the other side?
Is it a bi-metal switch?

Is it directly hardwired to the L1 black cord?
Is it [answer hidden]?
Is it the 3rd jumper after the H1 on the schematic?
Would it go from the L1 to H1 connector, through the surface element, and then through the protector bimetal? Or am I missing something?
So that makes question 1 [answer hidden] but I am still having a hard time with question 2.

So a regular ignition system there is no return path then?
Would it be the Bake Element itself?
