Yes Ma’am. Thank you.
I am on a lap top. Its blurry. But I will work on it. I was unable to download the file you sent via E Mail.
It says “Neutral to the gas”, so gas could be the answer because as stated “in gas dryers”. If so, then both heater and gas could be correct. SO, problem, what is Ronny not doing that Ronny is supposed to be doing?
It does. I remember. Thanks
WIll do.. Thanks. Thats the reason I asked. I remembered about the ground and using the chassis.
October 8, 2020 at 12:38 pm in reply to: Bonus Unit: Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) for the Whirlpool Vertical Modular W #20276Thanks. I believe this is the first time I have had the pleasure if hearing from you Mr. Scott. Love the class.

October 5, 2020 at 1:45 pm in reply to: Split Phase Drive Motors and Timers in Top Load Washers #20260That clears up a lot for me. Thank you sir. Always appreciate your experiance.
October 2, 2020 at 8:22 pm in reply to: Split Phase Drive Motors and Timers in Top Load Washers #20249Ok. So anytime I see relays and triacs, I am looking at the control board even though a certain schematic does not actually specify control board. Thanks
October 1, 2020 at 10:55 am in reply to: Split Phase Drive Motors and Timers in Top Load Washers #20240Pretty much. I am trying to be fluent in the language of schematics. Are switches always in the control board? Can you replace a relay and/or triac on a control board? Can relays and triacs all be tested from a control board? If one or the other is not working as it should, does the entire control board need to be replaced as a whole?
September 23, 2020 at 10:04 am in reply to: Schematic Exercises: Appliances with Electronic Control Boards 3 #20205And there it is! That’s exactly what I needed. I was focused on the rectangular box at the pins. Much appreciated.
September 22, 2020 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Schematic Exercises: Appliances with Electronic Control Boards 3 #2020232-2 is a red wire. I gave that answer and was told it was wrong. The neutral is connected at 32-1 which is labeled as a white wire. I got that answer correct. The question at hand asked specifically for what color line was to the heater. I answered 32-2 which is red. was marked wrong. So, I traced the line a different way and found 33-3 through the thermal fuse, which is a black wire and was marked correct. If I am looking at the diagram correctly, that means the heater has two lines. One at 32-2 and one at 33-3. They can both be traced back to the line through 6-pins 2 and 3. The schematic I am looking at the “F900A Schematic (HEATER)” diagram on page 7. Please take a look. I would appreciate any assistance in understanding this more correctly.
September 22, 2020 at 1:40 pm in reply to: Schematic Exercises: Appliances with Electronic Control Boards 2 and 3 #20198WAIT, I think I am beginning to see it now. Sorry for the inconvenience, I was getting a little frustrated with myself. I just reviewed the schematic and found something I did not realize. Part of learning I suppose.
September 22, 2020 at 1:22 pm in reply to: Schematic Exercises: Appliances with Electronic Control Boards 2 and 3 #20197Let me add that I am thoroughly enjoying the course. The problem is me. I am not clicking to the schematic reading. I have worked since I was 11 years old. I have put myself through college and other courses and have excelled, but this is whipping me. I guess I need a knock on the head, because right now I am having a duhhhh moment, ha! Maybe I need a box of crayons or something. haha!
If I typed anything inappropriate I apologize. My head needs a reboot. -
